A. Caspersen Company has been serving the Summit County and surrounding area since 1994. We recognize this would not be possible without the support of our community. 

As part of our efforts to help give back to the community upon which we depend on, we would like to support our neighbors by giving back to a local family in need of a new roof. We have partnered with ABC Supply Co., Inc. to fully cover the cost of a new roof replacement. To help us make a difference and support our community please fill out the submission form below with a brief explanation of why you or someone you know would benefit from a new roof.  The selected person will receive a FREE GAF Timberline Roof System installed by our team of experts.

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A Purchase Does Not Increase Chances of Winning

1.     Eligibility: Contest is open only to those who sign up digitally at www.acaspersenco.com/roofgiveaway and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and own a home. The contest is only open to legal residents living within a specified radius of our office location. Contestant must live within a 10-mile radius of our office located 3473 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224. Employees of A. Caspersen Company Inc. or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

2.      Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of A. Caspersen Company Inc. as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

3.      Contest Period: Entries will be accepted from March 23rd, 2022 through 11:59 pm. on May 31st, 2022.

4.      How to Enter: The Contest must be entered digitally on the internet by filling out the entry form provided at www.acaspersenco.com/roofgiveaway, between the specified dates above. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win the prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of A. Caspersen Company Inc. You may enter only once, and you submit the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple addresses, identities, or devices to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of A. Caspersen Company Inc.

5.     Prize: Winner will receive free installation of a residential asphalt roof, consisting of their choice of color, with a retail value of up to $6500. (Note: Any upgrades from this dollar amount remain on the responsibility of the winner). The new roof will be ordered to the proper specifications measured by a company representative to fit the pre-existing roof and will include the removal of the pre-existing roof on their home, disposal of the old shingles and installing the new shingles. Our standard roof warranty is included. The homeowner is responsible for payment of any upgrades that they would add to the job and pricing with a contract would be provided in advance for any said upgrades. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. All expenses, including without limitation all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for A. Caspersen Company Inc., to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6.     Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7.      Winner selection and notification: Winner of the Sweepstakes will be selected according to video presentation under the supervision of the Sponsors (A. Caspersen Company Inc. is not responsible for videos sent which are not actually received or not viewable).  Winner will be notified via email to the email address they entered on the Sweepstakes entry form within five (5) days following the winner selection. After email notification, the winner will have ten (10) days to contact A. Caspersen Co., Inc. by email and then to have a live phone conversation or in person meeting with A. Caspersen Co., Inc. representative for A. Caspersen Co., Inc. to obtain all the specified additional information and to verify the contestant’s eligibility.  A. Caspersen Co., Inc. shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam or junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 10 days from the time award notification was sent, or if A. Caspersen Co., Inc. and the contestant are unable to have a live phone conversation or in person meeting for A. Caspersen Co., Inc. to verify eligibility in its sole discretion, then A. Caspersen Co., Inc. will select a new contest winner in its sole discretion.  Additionally, after in person or live phone contact is made, if the notified winner fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases or necessary tax identification form, the prize shall be deemed forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CONTEST AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

8.      Rights Granted by you: By entering this contest you grant  A. Caspersen Co., Inc. or anyone acting on behalf of or its respective licensees, successors and assigns the right, without any further notice, review or consent, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s video, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Contest, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation. You warrant that you have not used any content in the video entry which is owned by our could be claimed by any third party not any copyrighted works, logos, or pirated information or visual artwork or any music that you do not have a license to broadcast and that all the video production is owned by you and transferable.  Upon submission of a video in this Contest, you agree to indemnify A. Caspersen Co., Inc. for any loss or damage, expenses, or costs, alleged against A. Caspersen Co., Inc. and /or suffered by A. Caspersen Co., Inc. due to claims of third parties.  Additionally, the winning contestant warrants that its premises is safe for A. Caspersen Co., Inc.’s work to begin and if A. Caspersen Co., Inc. determines that any measures must be taken prior to the commencement of the roofing job, the roof work will not begin until such measures are completed by the homeowner.

9.     Terms: A. Caspersen Co., Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest should it become necessary due to circumstances beyond its control such as but not limited to a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, A. Caspersen Co., Inc. may select the recipients from all eligible entries by A. Caspersen Co., Inc. and reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or violates these Terms & Conditions. A. Caspersen Co., Inc. has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void videos for any reason, including, but not limited to multiple entries from the same user. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; A. Caspersen Company Inc. reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. By entering the Contest, you agree to receive emails/newsletters periodically from A. 10.   Limitation of Liability and Indemnification Agreements :  By entering you agree to release and hold harmless A. Caspersen Co., Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (iv) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

11.   Winner List: To obtain a copy of the winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: A. Caspersen Company Inc. 3473 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224. Requests must be received no later than October 15th, 2022.

13.  This Contest is governed by Ohio laws and any cause of action shall be subject to binding arbitration in Summit County, Ohio. By entering the Contest, you submit to the jurisdiction and venue of this arbitration in Summit County, Ohio by an arbitrator selected by A. Caspersen Co., Inc.

The act of entering the contest constitutes acceptance of The Official Rules and Regulations and the decision(s) of the contest judges.

Contest Date: The contest commences on March 23rd, 2022 and closes at 11:59 pm on May 31,2022 (“Contest Period”). There is a limit of one (1) entry per household.

ELIGIBILITY:   One customer entry who submits our entry form on www.acaspersenco.com/roofgiveaway. Contestant must live in a radius of 10 miles from the A. Caspersen Company office, located at 3473 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224. A. Caspersen Company will be selecting 3 entries based on the applicant’s story, home, details, and presentation.  The 3 finalists will be announced and posted on the A. Caspersen Company Inc. website to be voted on by the public to select one winner.   Limit of one (1) entry per household.

HOW TO ENTER: To be entered for a chance to win, contestant will submit our the entry form on www.acaspersenco.com/roofgiveaway video before 11:59pm on May 31st, 2022.  Contestant must comply with all the Giveaway Contest Official Rules.   

PRIZE:   Roof replacement up to a maximum of $6500.  One entrant will be chosen by the judges at A. Caspersen Co., Inc. The selected winner will be contacted via phone or email by July 1st, 2022.  Roof to be completed by July 31, 2022. NO CASH VALUE Upgrades can be added at homeowner’s expense.

The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible video entries received during the Contest Period. The selected contestants will be contacted by A. Caspersen Company Inc. If a selected contestant cannot be reached within ten days of the initial contact by A. Caspersen Company, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected.  This procedure will be repeated until a selected contestant is reached and confirmed as a winner in accordance with the rules.  

BEFORE BEING DECLARED A CONFIRMED WINNER, the selected entrant will be required to (i) confirm compliance with these Rules; (ii) acknowledge acceptance of the prize as awarded: (iii) releases the Contest Parties and affiliates.
